about the building:
Conceived from a standard city block, this well intentioned design makes a few purposeful changes to a conventional form to create something new and optimal for its purpose; a floating city like residence within the harbor of Amsterdam.
Location: Amsterdam Harbor

foam models
One of the mechanical guidelines for the standard 8” widespread lavatory faucets is for the handles to be able to cover the 1.75” countertop holes. The part used to cover these is called an escutcheon.
design change
By deciding to switch from a full escutcheon to individual handle pieces altered the faucet's dynamics significantly.
